I think I've played all the way through this game three times, and chosen the three different endings. It's strange that it's many people's least favourite game in the series. I really loved the story and Tasi. I really loved the relationship between her and Amari. I've never seen a game where you play as a pregnant woman and give birth and rescue a baby before. I thought the cosmic horror aspect of it all was amazing. It's my favourite horror genre. I guess the only thing I didn't like much about the game, although I'm becoming more accepting, is the way it handled failure. When the game takes control and makes tarsey run around crazily before depositing you somewhere, it's a bad feeling for the gamer because it's taken away all of that agency, especially when from time to time, it will dump Tasi off Next to the goal or after the challenge. It means you only get one chance in a lot of cases. I realise this is important to the story and all of the mathematics at the end regarding how much humanity Tasi manages to retain. But it was a bad idea for a video game design, and that message at the beginning of the game, not to "play to win" did not fix it at all. I wish it was a mode that you could turn on, and otherwise, just have traditional failure screens and retry from a save point. At least you would get an opportunity to wrap your head around some of the challenges before you blunder into a failure.

Poor Simon, Catherine should have realized that he would never understand about being copied. She probably should have set it up so his suit also dies along with that current version of Simon. I wonder what they hope to achieve with the Ark out in space? Do they hope someone will find them eventually? Not like they can do anything meaningful within the Ark. There are roo many variables that result in the Ark just being destroyed sooner or later. Maybe the WAU wasn't on the wrong path, it brought back Simon and he didn't go bonkers. Given enough time, who knows what could happen. The planet has recovered from such cataclysmic events before.

look at you go dandi you got them gargoyles! your moxie and determination never cease to amaze, i know it's stressful but always remember this is still your first souls 2 experience. there's SO MUCH stuff in this game honestly. as stressful as it may be you're conquering stuff by focusing and adapting accordingly. just keep getting stronger bit of a shame the bastille key is kinda useless now but hey least it's always good knowledge on replays!

@9:11 Did the NT ever fix the mistake where the achievement says Fenrir rather than Garm? I guess maybe it's too late to fix it because people would have already unlocked it? Or is it intentionally written that way? But that's needlessly confusing. Because it is Garm that you kill.

Hard as the dragon bosses of Jagged Peak are, at least you didn't have to dodge a squad of them fighting themselves. Mount Doom's cousin is no joke.

Love the video Dandi! You beat Senessax much faster than some other RUclipsrs I watch. I hope you try some of the new weapons soon, they look super fun and I think you might like them, like the Milady sword. I've seen a few people use it against several end game bosses and enemies with success.
